Dressing Women 50+ for Weight Fluctuation On Hit Your Style Sweet Spot

Welcome to a fun collaboration with Jennifer of A Well Styled Life and Pam of over50feeling40.  We desire for all of us the fabulous women over 50 to look and feel our best each and every day.  After years of blogging for this audience, we have heard from so many of you about your discouragement and despondency when you look in the mirror every morning.  But, we both know just how transformative style can be, and hope to encourage you right here each week.  We want to see all of us empowered with strength, joy, and confidence.

This is a little difficult to write about... since 2010, when I began to blog, I have shared with you a journey of my ups and downs of weight loss and gain.  I know there are more of you out there.  The ones who are over 50 and still struggling with losing weight once and for all.

Just when I think I have the battle won, a life event turns things around and back it all comes.  In the past three years, I have been down 30 lbs and now have gained back 20!  So many reasons, health, lifestyle changes, stress eating, lack of self control...you name it.  The battle goes on...

There are gorgeous, thin over 50 fashion bloggers...and I am happy for them.  But, I would guess there are some of you in my camp...you struggle with the fluctuations...up and down...up and down...  We are still gorgeous and look amazing...but we all know we have some work to do.

I am so thankful for a brand like JJILL.  They give me options which look good; are comfortable; flattering; and fit well when I am going up or down my range!  I am building a workable, capsule wardrobe from JJill which helps me create many different styles that fit my life!  The column dressing and elongating looks are flattering no matter where I am on the spectrum.  When I wear clothes like this, I am actually inspired to take my healthy eating plan more seriously.  Dressing the body I have and looking good, keeps me with the vision to keep on keeping on.

These WEAREVER SMOOTH FIT SLIM PANT have a wide band which works if I am five pounds up or down...and are stylish with an ankle length, and the knit is so soft and comfy.

The cardigan is very lightweight and works for evenings or inside cold air conditioned buildings

Four pieces here are from the JUNE CATALOG, and the leggings in the second outfit, I have owned for months.  Wonderful collection...I cannot say enough good things about it.  My husband loves the top look with the asymmetric tunic  with white at the bottom.

I really believe I am going to conquer this issue in my life some day.  I will finally eat right and move the right amount to make it happen.  Until then, it is great to have clothing which helps me to look and feel my best while I move around the scales.  I do hope my time of going up the scales is over.  I know what to do ...just need to make sure I do it!

Now, let's go see what advice JENNIFER OF A WELL STYLED LIFE has for dressing for weight fluctuations! If you have thoughts, please share it here!

Remember: No matter what issues you struggle with, always take time to look and feel your best...because You Matter!
